RESEARCH & FINDINGS - CHD recommends providing the client with a Research and Findings report. CHD will investigate relevant authorities, codes and more importantly external affectations the site may be subject to, i.e. RTA-road widening, main road noise, ANEF-Aircraft Flight Path, Heritage, Acid Sulphate Soils, Floods, Energy Aust, BAReport etc... These findings inform the client of the planning parameters for the subject site, CHD may need to incorporate these affectations into principal planning and design procedures. A failure to be advised of or not implement these affectations may result in a refusal or extensive design changes of the proposed application.

FEES & QUOTING: Professional fees are subject to the brief and or complexity of the project, fees can be determined by either a square meter rate, percentage of the estimated construction costs or an hourly rate.
For projects with anticipated construction costs under $200k, the fee guide can be provided via phone & or email. Afte the initial site inspection and final client breif the fees are confirmed from which a formal agreement will be provided.
For all projects with anticipated construction costs over $200k, an appointment with the cleint is required to obtain the client brief, CHD will then provide a fee proposal and formal agreement.
