about the principal designer

Fernando TRAJCEVSKI was born in France, in the early 70's his family migrated to Erskineville in Sydney. He began education at St Josephs Newtown followed by St Thomas Christian Brothers in Lewisham. Naturally excelling in art, crafts & technical drawings, an early indication of his future career was forming. By 1993 he furthered studies in the Architectural associate diploma (ADipAD) , which detailed Residential and  Non - Residential Design and Construction, CAD, Industrial Communication, and the Building Industry in context. 

 

Early Highlights 1 - During full time studies with senior & experienced students in his class, a competition project of a new beach house on vacant land was required. The objectives involved, concept design, perspectives, artists impression, compliance with development standards and a strict budget. Fernando was awarded first place for the most functional and cost effective design for the subject competition. 

Early Highlights 2 - Also during full time studies, eager to implement theory into practicality, Fernando solely undertook the entire design, council application and construction process of his parents home pictured below, completed in 1995. This early practical experience enabled Fernando to grasp the design and construction process, this enabled Fernando to design with assurances that ideas can become a reality.

Obtained much needed work experience in a Sydney Architectural practice. Joined a large Civil Engineering firm and furthered knowledge of large scale Commercial, Industrial, Retail & Residential Construction. Overseas travel exposed Fernando to appreciate historical  international architecture, after developing a personal like for Contemporary, Tropical & Resort style Architecture, Fernando insists, “Instead of imposing an architectural period and or style, I aim to implement the individual needs & wants of my client, the site and the budget”.


Established his first company "Pacific homes by Fernando pty ltd" in 1998 which specialized in the design of Luxury Executive Homes. A subsidiary "A AChristian Design & Drafting services" was formed in 2003 specializing in the design of additions, alterations & extensions.  In 2005 "Contemporary Home Design" was established to amalgamate the two parties, which now caters for all types of projects.
